Family owned and run, The Spinners Arms is a traditional pub.
We aim to provide a relaxed and friendly environment.
Found in the village of Cummersdale, on the outskirts of Carlisle, the Spinners Arms is a family and dog friendly community local.
The Spinners Arms is a fine example of a Carlisle State Management Scheme pub, designed by Harry Redfern and built in 1930. It's a Grade II listed building with original features including open fires, tiled fireplaces wood panelling and decorative guttering.
We've been listed in the Good Beer Guide since 2008, and have been given CAMRA pub of the Season 3 times and been a finalist in the Solway CAMRA Pub of the Year twice.
We set up our own microbrewery onsite in 2013, the Carlisle Brewing Co, which proved so successful we expanded in 2015 to a nearby estate - all real ale served in the pub comes from our brewery!
